In ChatGPT or Claude

  • Reorder recommendations for a vendor, a warehouse or every vendor: what to order and how much.
  • Why each number is what it is: the forecast, safety stock, lead time, on hand and on order behind each item, plus the sales history the forecast used.
  • Open purchase orders: what is placed but not yet received.
  • Purchase orders from the recommendations or from a one-off order, created when you ask ChatGPT or Claude to create or place one. Ask only for recommendations and nothing is created.
  • Spreadsheet download of every recommendation line.

What it reads and what it writes

  • Reads from a connected system: items, on-hand and on-order quantities, sales history, vendors, lead times and open purchase orders.
  • Writes to a connected system: the purchase orders you ask ChatGPT or Claude to create or place and, only where editing is switched on for your system, the ordering details of an item (vendor, lead time, minimum order and so on) that you choose to save there. Nothing else.
  • It never sends a purchase order to a vendor. You do that, or your own system does if it is set to.

How your data is kept separate and safe

  • One company per account: every request is answered from your own company's data only.
  • Spreadsheet links last 15 minutes, for up to 3 downloads.
  • Connection secrets are stored encrypted; passwords and sign-in sessions are stored only as hashes.
  • Reorder Owl doesn't sell your data, show advertising, or train AI models on your data.
  • Results Reorder Owl sends to ChatGPT or Claude, and what you type there, are handled by OpenAI or Anthropic under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Deleting your account removes your company, its connections and its saved purchase orders.
